HOW TO CLEAN YOUR REMOTE CONTROL

While the cleanliness of the remote won’t have an impact on how well you enjoy a movie, you’ll still want to maintain it clean so it continues to function with your TV. It is probably one of the most often touched items in your home, therefore cleaning it frequently reduces the transmission of germs. Here is what we recommend.

What you will require is: sanitizing wipes

• To clean, remove the batteries from the battery compartment and then put the top back on. To loosen any crumbs or debris lodged in the crevices, gently tap the remote on a table with the button facing down
• Grab a pre-wetted cleaning cloth and use it to wipe both sides of the remote clean (just imagine how many germ-laden fingers it has received!). Pay close attention to the buttons’ surrounding tight spots. Replace the batteries when the remote control has had time to air dry.
• Sanitage Cleaning Tip: Use a toothpick or your fingernail together with the wipe to remove any goop that has become lodged in the little crevices.
